[Satellite Today 05-20-09] Faith Satellite Radio, a religious satellite radio service covering Africa and Europe, has secured capacity on the Intelsat 10 satellite, the company announced May 19.
Faith Satellite Radio said the contracted capacity allows the broadcaster to continue expanding its needs throughout Africa, as well as supplying over 17,000 African parishes with radio programming and multimedia content from around the world.
Intelsat 10, located at 68.5 degrees East, delivers satellite coverage from Europe and the Middle East to Africa and Asia.
