[Satellite Today 05-07-09] Avanti Communications signed contracts to supply broadband products to Italian distribution companies Tempestini Group and Hitek Partners, Avanti announced May 6.
Tempestini Group specializes in developing and integrating applications for Italian law enforcement agencies. Hitek Partners owns the maritime brand Swim4Sail and is working with Avanti to provide communications for live sporting events in Italy.
The contracts are worth an initial aggregate value of $450,000 for Avanti in the first two years.
