[Satellite Today 03-18-09] Globecomm Systems has selected Spectracom to supply network synchronization subsystems for Globecomm’s new satellite communications system, Spectracom announced March 17.
The contract, valued at $500,000, includes the procurement of Spectracom’s NetClock master clock platform and Epsilon signal distribution platform to generate and distribute a variety of timing signals for satellite ground terminals.
Deliveries will begin in the second quarter of 2009 and continue throughout the year.
