[Satellite Today 03-18-09] TerreStar completed final satellite and reflector post dynamics performance testing of the TerreStar-1 mobile services satellite and has entered into the final phase of integration and testing at the facilities of its manufacturer, Space Systems/Loral, TerreStar announced March 16.
Launch provider Arianespace has accepted TerreStar’s requested launch date of May 28.
Terrestar also has secured the insurance for the satellite’s launch and in-orbit operations, the company announced.
