[Satellite Today 03-06-09] Qtel, a telecommunication solutions provider based in Qatar, has launched a new global Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IP VPN) service for local, regional and international business, the company announced Mar. 4.
Qtel’s IP VPN service connects hard-to-reach customer sites with a single link, supported by its network partners including Reliance Globalcom, SingTel and Tawasul Telecom.
To jumpstart the service, Qtel said it will be waiving all setup costs for the global IP VPN service in its first six weeks of availability.
