[Satellite Today 01-30-09] RRsat reported record revenues of $79 million in the 2008 fourth quarter as well as a record backlog, the company announced Jan. 29.
In the final three months of 2008, revenues increased 34 percent, while operating income improved 38 percent to $5 million. Backlog reached $185.7 million at the end of 2008, compared to $178.5 million at the end of the third quarter.
Net income for the fourth quarter of 2008 was $3.6 million, an increase of 13 percent over income of $3.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2007.
