SES New Skies has signed a capacity deal with CETel for transponder space on the NSS-12 satellite, SES News Skies announced.
CETel will use a Ku-band transponder on the satellite to provide service in the growing market in the Middle East and Africa for VSAT services and corporate networks.
NSS-12 satellite is scheduled to begin service in the second half of 2009 and will replace the NSS-703 satellite at 57 degrees East.
