Austar has around 670,000 subscribers in Australia.
“John Porter’s passionate leadership of the company has seen Austar become one of the most vibrant media organizations in Australia,” Austar Chairman Michael Fries said in a statement. “We are delighted that John has renewed his commitment to Austar, and we are confident that under his stewardship we will continue to go from strength to strength.”
