[Satellite Today – 3-25-08] Gilat Satellite Networks CFO Tal Payne is leaving the company to become CFO of Check Point Software Technologies, Gilat announced March 25. Payne is expected to remain at Gilat until the middle of the year.
“Since Tal became Gilat’s CFO, the company has experienced improvement in all key financial indicators including an increase in revenues from $209 million in 2005 to $283 million in 2007 while showing significant improvement in profitability and cash balances,” Amiram Levinberg, CEO of Gilat, said in a statement. “We think highly of Tal’s professional capabilities and leadership and regret to see her leave Gilat.”
