[11-20-07 – Satellite Today] Arabsat signed a contract from Melody Entertainment to distribute a series of channels across the Middle East, Arabsat announced Nov. 19.
Melody Entertainment will launch the channels via Arabsat’s Badr-4 satellite, which was launched in November 2006 to provide direct-to-home TV as well as voice and broadband services across the Middle East, North Africa and parts of Europe.
Melody also said a number of other channels are being prepared for launch throughout the next few weeks.
