ST Engineering iDirect Makes Appointments in Engineering, Strategy

ST Engineering iDirect appointed two new leaders to its executive team, naming Sridhar Kuppanna its new senior vice president of Engineering and Cynthia Harty as senior vice president of Corporate Strategy.

Kuppanna is a new appointment to iDirect and joins the company from Ribbon Communications. There, he worked on secure cloud communications solutions. Kuppanna will focus on the development and delivery of ST Engineering iDirect’s next generation platform.

Harty has been with ST Engineering iDirect for 23 years and has held multiple leadership roles across sales, strategy and business development. She will be focused on standards-based innovation, strengthening industry relationships and expanding ST Engineering iDirect’s presence in the broader telecommunications ecosystem. 

The company’s recently appointed CEO Don Claussen said ST Engineering iDriect is committed to establishing industry standards and building a multi-domain, cloud-enabled telecom mode.  

“In this rapidly evolving satellite landscape, we remain focused on our mission – to unite GEO, LEO and MEO and seamlessly integrate with the terrestrial environment as we transition our products and capabilities to software-defined networks,” Claussen commented.
