GSOA Appoints New Treasurer

The Global Satellite Operators Association (GSOA) has appointed ManSat’s CFO Rachel Beattie to be its new treasurer. GSOA announced the appointment Sept. 25. Beattie has been the CFO at ManSat for just over three years and has completed the ISU Space Executive Course.

GSOA serves as a collaborative platform for enterprises engaged in the global satellite ecosystem, offering a unified voice for the sector. The organization’s vision centers around aiding policymakers in enhancing global conditions by bridging digital, education, health, social, gender, and economic disparities across diverse geographies and economies, encompassing both mature and developing markets.

“We extend a warm welcome to Rachel who comes at a crucial time for the sector. We eagerly anticipate the invaluable financial acumen she brings to our organization. Rachel’s experience of the regional satellite and space industry will be instrumental in highlighting the industry’s impact and benefits to the global markets,” Isabelle Mauro, director general of GSOA, said in a statement.
