Kerry Wisnosky is joining Quantum Space as the startup’s president and CEO, the company announced Friday. He is now responsible for Quantum Space’s strategic direction moving forward as the company prepares for the inaugural launch of its Ranger multi-purpose vehicle in early 2025.

Quantum Space was founded in 2021 and recently announced a $15 million investment from venture capital firm Prime Movers Lab, and plans for the Ranger orbital transfer vehicle (OTV) to carry payloads to Geostationary and cislunar orbits and beyond.

Wisnosky previously co-founded Millennium Engineering and Integration and led the company’s merger with QuantiTech in 2021. He replaces former CEO Steve Jurczyk, who is a former acting administrator of NASA. Jurczyk will serve as an advisor to the company.

“I could not be more honored to accept the position of president and CEO at such a pivotal period of growth and opportunity for our company,” said Wisnosky. “I am looking forward to executing on our bold vision for transforming how organizations access and operate in GEO and beyond.”
