[Via Satellite 12-13-13] Signalhorn received the necessary final approval from the Polish government required to proceed with its long-term agreement with Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności, a government-owned entity. After more than two decades of producing advanced military command and control field operation communication units for the Polish Ministry of Defense, Signalhorn and WZL will now be in a position to offer these complex communication units worldwide.

“Many government, NGO, and defense organizations have significant requirements for transportable and mobile communication solutions that support command and control efforts,” said Robert Kubbernus, president and CEO, Signalhorn. “This also includes areas where peacekeeping and humanitarian efforts are underway.”

A component of the expansion includes the creation of Nuclear Electro Magnetic Pulse (NEMP) testing laboratory for communication equipment allowing Signalhorn and WZL to certify and produce communication solutions that will withstand Electro Magnetic Shock in case of a nuclear event. Such certified equipment is in demand by a number of defense and government agencies around the world.
