NSSLGlobal is making a new acquisition move in the security arena. The company announced Friday that it is purchasing MetOcean Telematics, a company that provides global security, surveillance and IOT asset tracking solutions for international law enforcement as well as for enterprise customers and high-profile individuals.
MetOcean Telematics is specialized in covert vehicle fitting, including surveillance and communication equipment. These products are designed for locating and tracking key assets via satellite, cellular and radio, especially in remote areas and harsh environments. NSSLGlobal is an independent provider of project engineering, satellite communications, IT management and systems integration.
“NSSLGlobal already deliver critical communication services to blue light, border force, security and civil disaster response organizations. This acquisition provides us with the ability to strengthen our offering into this sector with an exciting portfolio of complementary products and services for our customers as well as offering the full suite of satellite communication alongside a global support capability into MetOcean Telematics existing customer base,” Sally-anne Ray, Group CEO, NSSLGlobal said in a statement.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
