SSC Space and Saab are teaming up to explore potential areas of cooperation related to space and Multi-Domain Operations (MDO). These will include the use of Esrange Space Center as a strategic facility for testing, demonstration, launch, and operations in this respect, to deliver sovereign, end-to-end space capabilities for Sweden and Europe. The two companies announced a new MoU, Sept. 24.
Saab, as system integrator, will look to combine with SSC Space’s ground and orbital launch infrastructure with contributions from a broader partner ecosystem linking space, air, land and naval systems to deliver sovereign, end-to-end space capabilities as part of Saab-coordinated MDO solutions for Sweden and Europe. The collaboration focuses on incorporating space capabilities into Saab-coordinated MDO solutions, linking space, air, land, and ground naval systems.
