Gilat Wins Israeli Military Deal
[Satellite TODAY 04-23-13] The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has selected Gilat Satellite Networks’ SatTrooper-1000 military Manpack terminal for advanced tactical field communications. The SatTrooper-1000 will provide Israeli soldiers with high-broadband speeds data, video and telephony services.
The terminal is intended to be quickly set up by a single warfighter and its auto-pointing antenna enables rapid connectivity even in harsh environmental conditions.
