The event was scheduled to run Oct. 29 through Nov. 1 in Kissimmee, Fla., and was to be hosted by Melbourne-based Harris Corp. The show’s management determined that approximately 40 percent of its attendees would be traveling from areas impacted by Hurricane Sandy and would be prevented or unreasonably delayed from attending the event.

      “Many states and local governments declared a state of emergency and numerous airlines canceled flights,” AFCEA International said in a statement.
