[Satellite Today 06-17-09] C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. has delivered a number of iNetVu mobile flyaway systems to China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (Sinopec) through reseller China Blue Satellite Communications Technology Co., C-Com announced June 16.

    Sinopec will use the transportable systems to establish instant communication over satellite in emergency situations. “Having an easily transportable and simple to assemble iNetVu Flyaway emergency satellite communications unit has completely changed the way we handle emergency incidents,” Zy Xu, director of the information division at Sinopec, said in a statement. “… The video, data and voice capacity of this system allows all decision makers to collaborate instantaneously and provides them with precise, clear and comprehensive information about the developing emergency situation and allows them to respond accordingly.”
