AsiaSat Appoints General Manager for China

[Satellite News 08-11-08] AsiaSat appointed Zhang Hai Ming general manager for China, the company said Aug. 8.
Zhang will oversee AsiaSat’s marketing, sales and customer relations activities in the mainland China market.
Zhang has more than 20 years of experience in the satellite industry, previously working with Echostar, Lockheed Martin, Skywave TV (an 80-percent owned subsidiary of AsiaSat) and China Mobile Broadcasting Satellite in various management positions.
