Glocal Media Adds Board Member

[Satellite News 08-11-08] Glocal Media Networks Inc. named Theodore “Ted” McFarland to the company’s board, Glocal announced Aug. 11.
Glocal, based in Los Angeles, operates five ethnic language pay-TV channels in the United States, Canada, and Japan and is expanding into Australia, Taiwan and France. McFarland will assist on new market and fund raising opportunities working out of Pacific Skies’ offices in McLean, Va.
McFarland previously worked with Glocal CEO Dennis Young at the satellite division of Hughes, Hughes International and DirecTV Japan.
