EMS Founder Pippin Dies

John Pippin, founder of EMS Technologies Inc., died July 13, the company announced. Pippin founded the company in 1968 as Electromagnetic Sciences Inc. and retired as chairman in 1998.

Prior to founding EMS, Pippin was vice president of research at Scientific-Atlanta from 1964 to 1968.
