Modulus Video Inc. has introduced several new configurations of its MRE2000 series receiver encoder for MPEG-4 AVC video for IPTV, the company announced June 18.

With configurations to support both high-definition (HD) and standard-definition (SD) video, the models provide telcos with the video headend functionality to launch IPTV services.
