Marlink has previewed its new line of global maritime broadband satellite services, the company reported June 13.

Dubbed VSAT@sea, the services feature three standard configurations for providing Internet Protocol-based communications with speeds ranging from 32 kilobits per second (kbps) up to 1,024 kbps depending on the service package and application.

The service will be available before the end of the year, Marlink said.
