Telenor Satellite Services is developing a broadband communications line of services targeting the maritime industry, Telenor announced June 12.

The system, dubbed OceanRoam, will provide vessels with Internet and telephone connectivity using assigned Internet Protocol addresses and telephone numbers, regardless of location.
