Gilat has won a key VSAT deal in one of Africa’s major markets by signing a deal with Nigerian ISP Hyperia, which will see it supply its SkyEdge broadband satellite hub and 700 VSAT terminals to the operator. The VSAT network will enable Hyperia to expand its services in West Africa and to provide multiple services such as broadband IP, telephony, mesh voice, mesh IP and video conferencing.
