Batelco Looks Toward Satellite

Batelco, a telco in Bahrain, has signed a deal to offer satellite services to customers in the Middle East. Its memorandum of understanding with SpeedCast for the development of satellite services in the Middle East details their mutual cooperation in jointly developing, marketing and distributing advanced satellite services.
Batelco intends to attract customer applications including corporate private networks, disaster recovery, and maritime services and two-way satellite Internet services, etc.
