Advantech Satellite Networks Inc. has been awarded a contract to provide a VSAT communications network for Saudi Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Advantech announced.

The contract includes the delivery of redundant hubs with geographic diversity and the provision for hundreds of fixed, maritime and auto-tracking terminals for use to support Saudi Aramco operations, including exploration of new oil reserves in the Saudi Arabian desert.
