NASA Gives Swales Aerospace Up To $200 Million For Langley Services

      NASA selected Swales Aerospace of Beltsville, Md., to provide research and technology services to the NASA Langley Research Center.

      The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a maximum value of $200 million over five years.

      Swales Aerospace will provide on-site research, engineering and technical support for the development of computational and experimental aerodynamic databases; structural testing, analysis and interpretation of data; guidelines for flight deck design and systems analysis and conceptual design of aerospace vehicles.

      Swales also will provide mission architectures; engineering design of system components; development of mission requirements; support of National Airspace System modernization and independent safety analyses and assessments.
