Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems (LMCSS) awarded a contract to Integral Systems Inc. to provide primary and backup satellite-control systems for the Vinasat-1 satellite being constructed for the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, Integral announced Oct. 16.

The systems will incorporate several elements of Integral’s Epoch Integrated Product Suite to provide a complete command and control system plus automated scheduling, procedure execution, offline trending and analysis, and flight dynamics functions.

The value of the contract was not released.
