Globecomm Systems Inc. announced Oct. 5 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Globecomm Network Services Corporation (GNSC), has been awarded service-contract extensions from Afghan Telecom Corp. valued at $2.1 million. Afghan Telecom is the only basic telecom service provider in Afghanistan.
