Globalstar Inc. has partnered with Ocens to launch a suite of data services, Globalstar announced

Three services are available to Globalstar subscribers in the United States. Ocens Mail provides capability to transfer e-mail up to 20 times faster than standard e-mail; Ocens Weathernet affords access to 20,000 weather-related products and Grib Explorer presents specialized gridded binary weather and ocean products.

Globalstar will package its satellite mobile and fixed units with free trial versions of each of the Ocens products.
