Satlynx is the latest satellite operator looking to capitalize on the potential Ouranos Networks fallout. Many Ouranos customers were left without service, and little is known regarding its return online.

Satlynx said there had been a “growing market awareness of loss of service” and that it was ready to step into the breach. Satlynx’s offer comes days after Bridge Broadband also announced a recovery package for Ouranos customers.

Andy Frost, Satlynx’s vice president of marketing and business development, said “after the demise of Aramiska, Satlynx were able to provide service for many distressed customers who were left without service for days and even weeks. Satlynx is able to step in again and provide assistance to Ouranos customers who wish to switch to Satlynx services. To facilitate this transition to its platforms, Satlynx is offering to absorb the cost of the new satellite equipment.”
