MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. received several orders from an unnamed U.S. government agency to provide Radarsat-1 products throughout a 10-month period, the company announced Aug. 22.

The orders, valued at a total of $2.1 million, were made under an existing indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract held by MacDonald Dettwiler. The latest orders bring the total value of the contract for MacDonald Dettwiler to more than $5.8 million, the company said.
