Volvo Cars of North America and Sirius Satellite Radio announced Aug. 8 that Volvo will begin offering Sirius equipment as a factory installed option this summer.

Starting with the 2007 model year, Volvo plans to offer factory installed Sirius on the Volvo S40, Volvo V50, Volvo C70, and the Volvo S80. Volvo also will offer a six-month subscription to the satellite radio service.
