Atlantic Canada’s Aliant will launch a high-speed Internet satellite service to customers without access to terrestrial services, the company announced Aug. 2. Aliant partnered with Telesat Canada to provide the two-way broadband satellite service, which can offer download speeds of up to 2 megabits per second.
