Viasat, the Nordic direct-to-home platform, closed June with 652,000 subscribers, adding 20,000 subscribers during the 2006 second quarter, the company announced. Rival Canal Digital announced last week that it closed the quarter with 687,000 subscribers, an increase of just 3,000.
