Elara Networks selected iDirect Technologies to supply a technology platform to a privately held pharmacy chain based in Mexico, iDirect announced July 26.

iDirect will provide enhanced voice communication and inventory and distribution control capability for more than 600 Farmacias Similares pharmacies. iDirect also will offer updates of operating software as well as additional internal network throughout the chain.

The installation of the initial 600 sites is scheduled to be complete before the end of July.
