SES Americom announced July 11 its Redisat network is available in the United States.

The network, which targets first responders, emergency management professionals and private enterprises, supplies satellite space bandwidth needed to correspond to disaster and other emergency situations. Customers can choose one of two levels of service based on their needs.

The network operates from SES Americom’s AMC-6 satellite located at 72 degrees West.
