Globecast hooked up two new deals with channel providers to provide them access to Sky‘s platform in the United Kingdom and Ireland using Globecast’s capacity aboard the Eurobird satellite.

The operator signed deals with The Baby Channel and U.S. horse racing channel Racing World. Globecast’s solution for the two channels includes fiber connectivity from the BT Tower in London to its London Technical Operations Centre at Brookmans Park, where the signals are uplinked to the Sky Digital platform via Eurobird at 28.5º East.
