Radyne Corp. will supply ground components for the U.S. military’s Ground Multi-Band Terminal program under a contract from an unnamed integrator, Radyne announced.

Radyne will supply satellite modems and power amplifiers for the program under a contract that could run up to five years. The first phase of the award is valued at $5.3 million, and if all options are exercised, the contract could be worth $60 million to $80 million, Radyne said.

The Ground Multi-band Terminal is a tactical satellite communications ground terminal designed to operate in X-, C-, Ku- and Ka-bands.
