Panamsat signed a deal with TVBI Co. Ltd. June 19 to distribute Chinese-language programming throughout the Asia Pacific region, the United States and Europe. The signal uplink from Hong Kong will be distributed via the PAS-8 satellite. The signal also will be picked up by Panamsat’s Napa, Calif., teleport and delivered to TVB USA Norwalk. The teleport also will be responsible for partial delivery to TVB London.
