Norsat International, a manufacturer of portable satellite systems, has granted a U.S.-based satellite communications systems integrator rights to resell Norsat’s Globetrekker ethnology, Norsat announced.

Under a memorandum of understanding, Norsat will license the Globetrekker technology to the integrator, which will co-brand, resell and manufacture Globetrekkers. The agreement is not binding, but the two companies intend to negotiate a definitive deal, Norsat said.
