Worldspace Satellite Radio, one of the global providers in satellite-based radio services, announced March 20 that it has launched Ranin and Min Zaman, two new commercial-free Arabic music channels that will offer subscribers contemporary pop hits and classic Arab hits from the Middle East.

Available on the east beam of the company’s Afristar satellite, both channels can be heard in more than 12 countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

“Ranin and Min Zaman not only give our subscribers access to authentic music from the Middle East, but the new channels also offer them a much more personal, global satellite radio experience,” said Billy Sabatini, vice president of global content for Worldspace, in a statement.
