Xtar LLC signed master service agreements with two companies that provide service to U.S. government customers, Xtar announced Feb. 3.

Under the agreements, General Dynamics Satellite Communications Services Inc. and Stratos Mobile Networks Inc. will market and lease Xtar’s X-band capacity to U.S. and allied government agencies.

Xtar is a joint venture of Loral Space & Communications and Spain’s Hisdesat.
