Wireless Matrix Corp. executed a contract extension with Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) to continue providing satellite services through January 2008, Wireless Matrix announced.

The satellite service is a key component of Wireless Matrix’s Wide Area Wireless communications network, which integrates satellite service and terrestrial wireless services. The contract extension also provides Wireless Matrix with an additional satellite channel to accommodate anticipated subscriber growth.

Wireless Matrix and MSV have been partners since 1997.
