U.K. satellite pay-TV operator BSkyB stepped up its plans for providing content on alternative platforms, launching a pair of new services, the company announced Jan. 10.

Sky by broadband and Sky by mobile will provide more flexible access to content on personal computers and mobile units, the company said. The services will be included in BSkyB subscriptions.
