Network Live will provide direct-to-home satellite television service provider DirecTV with entertainment programming created and distributed by Network Live, the companies announced Dec. 15.

As part of the agreement, Network Live, a joint venture among America Online, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, will become the music and live entertainment programming partner for DirecTV, and DirecTV will serve as Network Live’s exclusive television partner.

The launch of Network Live programming on DirecTV will take place in March with both standard-definition and high-definition channels.
