Vision Technologies Electronics Inc. (VTEE), completed its acquisition of iDirect Technologies Dec. 1, iDirect announced. VTEE, a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems Inc., paid $165 million in cash for iDirect.

“This business acquisition will help us in many different ways, like moving into Asia more aggressively and expanding our business with the Department of Defense,” John Kealey, iDirect CEO told Satellite News, sister publication to Satellite Today, in September, when the acquisition was announced. “They also have other resources, like financial backing and engineering, that we can leverage to help iDirect build itself into a much larger company.”
