Sirius Canada began broadcasting its 100-station satellite radio service Dec. 1, the company announced.

Sirius Canada set the subscription price at $14.99 a month and $7.99 for each additional receiver up to four and will waive the $20 activation fee for the first 50,000 subscribers.

Rival XM Canada launched service Nov. 22.
